VisaScope ("VisaScope," "we," "us," or "our") is committed to protecting your personal information and your right to privacy. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights under Canada's Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) and applicable provincial privacy legislation.
If you have questions about this policy or our privacy practices, please contact us at the information provided at the bottom of this page.
1. INFORMATION WE COLLECT
We collect personal information you provide to us directly when you:
- Submit the contact form on our website (name, email address, phone number, and message content)
- Book a consultation through our scheduling tool (name, email address, and appointment details managed by Cal.com)
- Engage us as a client (additional personal and immigration-related information collected under a separate client service agreement)
We use Google Analytics 4 to collect anonymized website usage data (pages visited, session duration, general geographic region) to help us improve our website. This data does not personally identify you. We may also display Google AdSense advertisements on this website; Google uses cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites. You can opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings.
2. HOW WE USE YOUR INFORMATION
We use the personal information you provide for the following purposes:
- Responding to inquiries: Contact form submissions are used solely to respond to your question or request.
- Scheduling consultations: Appointment details are processed by Cal.com, our third-party scheduling platform, in accordance with their privacy policy.
- Providing immigration consulting services: If you engage us as a client, personal information is used to assess your immigration eligibility, prepare applications, communicate with immigration authorities on your behalf, and fulfill our professional obligations as CICC-licensed consultants.
We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for marketing purposes.
3. LEGAL BASIS FOR PROCESSING
We collect and process your personal information with your knowledge and consent — typically implied consent when you submit a form or express consent when you enter into a client service agreement. You may withdraw consent at any time, subject to legal or contractual restrictions and reasonable notice. Withdrawing consent may affect our ability to provide services to you.
4. THIRD-PARTY SERVICES
Our website uses the following third-party services that may process limited personal data:

Contact form submissions are transmitted securely via HTTPS and stored temporarily on our Hostinger server to deliver email notifications. We do not retain form submission data beyond what is necessary to respond to your inquiry.
5. DATA RETENTION
We retain personal information from general inquiries only as long as necessary to respond to your request — typically no more than 90 days after the matter is resolved. Client files are retained for a minimum of 7 years following the conclusion of services, as required by CICC professional standards and applicable law.
6. SECURITY
We implement reasonable technical and organizational security measures to protect your personal information from unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction. All data transmission between your browser and our website uses HTTPS/TLS encryption. Our internal file management follows CICC professional standards for client information security.
